Position Summary The Math Teacher will work in collaboration with division directors, support staff, and faculty to create a Christ-centered, academically rigorous, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Planning

• Teach according to GA's established curriculum
• Translate course goals into age-appropriate, engaging lessons
• Design learning experiences that foster curiosity and growth
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Use varied assessment tools to evaluate student learning

Classroom Instruction

• Cultivate a love of learning
• Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Student Engagement

• Build a classroom culture of care, respect, and responsibility
• Model and enforce Christ-centered behavior and expectations

Parent Communication

• Provide timely, meaningful updates on student progress
• Respond promptly and graciously to parent inquiries

Professional Growth

• Stay current on research and instructional best practices
• Attend all faculty meetings, in-services, and professional development

Qualifications

Professional

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (required)
• Prior teaching experience (preferred)

Spiritual

• Acceptance of Gateway Academy's Statement of Faith
• A strong and clear Christian testimony
