Middle School Grammar and Spelling Teacher – Grace Christian Academy  

Grace Christian Academy Taipei is seeking a dedicated and professional Middle School Grammar and Spelling Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

 

Teaching Writing, Spelling, and Grammar to Grades 6-8:

• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and differentiated lessons in writing, spelling, and grammar for students in Grades 6 through 8.
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills.
• Employ diverse teaching methodologies to cater to various learning styles and individual needs.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure curriculum alignment and share best practices.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in English language arts education with a state teaching license, and although teachers are not missionaries, all of us have a heart for God and want to help lead the students to Christ.

 

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range: NTD 67,000-88,000/Month (varies based on highest degree earned)
• (If hired outside of Taiwan) Round trip airfare per 2-year contract
• Housing provided (dormitory style if single, one apartment unit per married couple if the spouse doesn’t work for any other company)
• 36 Paid Holidays (based on the Taiwan National Holidays and some American holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter)
