Job Overview

Riverstone Classical Academy is a homeschool hybrid program. Students are registered homeschoolers and attend our academic classes two days a week. Classes are led by qualified Christian teachers who assign work for parents to facilitate on at home days. Classes are small with no more than 10 students per class.

Job Description

Humanities teacher needed for the 2025-2026 school year. Class is a combination of 7th and 8th graders. Subjects taught in this class are history, bible, geography, literature, and writing. Curriculum is provided by the school, but teachers are free to create their own lesson plans. Teachers lead classes on academic days. They also provide an assignment sheet that is sent home to parents once a week. This assignment sheet consists of the work students are to complete at home under the supervision of their parents.

Applicants must be committed Christians and member of a church.

Bachelors degree and teaching experience required.

Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 – 3:00.
