Position Overview:

Monroe Christian School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Math Teacher to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to integrate biblical principles into the teaching. The teacher will inspire students to develop a love for math while nurturing faith and character development.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive math lessons for middle school students, incorporating Christian principles and values.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore mathematical concepts and develop critical thinking skills.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, projects, and other forms of evaluation.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching middle school math is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Christian principles and the integration into curriculum development.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Monroe Christian School.

Education Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Washington state.

• A combination of education and experience will be considered for qualified candidates.
