To all applicants and friends, Hello! We're excited to announce that we're beginning our search for a Director of Middle School Student Ministry. As Tabernacle continues to grow, we're thrilled to expand our ministry team with a role that will give even greater focus to our middle school students. Tabernacle Baptist Church exists to help people discover their ultimate purpose in life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Every ministry pursues this mission through our four priorities: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Outreach. Our Middle School Ministry will reflect these priorities while building its own unique identity—working closely alongside, but distinct from, our High School Ministry. The Middle School Director's weekly ministry rhythm will center around Sunday morning LifeGroups and Wednesday night Gatherings. This role will also lead students in camps, retreats, and mission opportunities throughout the year. Collaboration is key in this position—you'll work with our Kids Director to create smooth transitions from 5th to 6th grade, and with our High School Director to plan student-wide events, camps, and mission efforts.
