East Athens Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Minister of Music/Associate Pastor to join our ministry team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead our congregation in worship during Sunday and Wednesday services.Direct praise team rehearsals on Wednesday nights and Sunday Mornings.Equip, encourage, and grow our current praise team-including orchestra, vocalists, and tech/media volunteers.Work closely with the tech/media team to ensure smooth and meaningful worship experiences. Plan and lead Christmas and Easter programs; collaborate with the Senior Pastor for special events.Incorporate a variety of musical styles-from traditional hymns to contemporary worship.Invest in people throughout the week-not just on the platform.Share in the responsibilities of pastoral ministry

Qualifications:

A heart for the local church and a calling to lead worship and media ministry.Proven ability to engage and lead across generations.Musical ability and experience directing teams (instrumentalists and vocalists).Familiarity with worship software like ProPresenter and livestream technology.Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000 (commensurate with experience and education)Benefits: paid vacation, mileage, cell phone, paid conferences
