Description

Glyndale Baptist Church is seeking to find an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Minister of Music/Choir Director with a love for God, a servant's heart, and the ability to lead our choir and congregation in biblically faithful, Spirit-led worship. The perfect candidate will have a strong calling and passion for leading worship and have the ability to connect with other people to lead our church in blending both contemporary and traditional musical styles to engage the congregation in worship.

Applicant must be in alignment with the Baptist Faith, be dependable, mature, and interact well with others.

Responsibilities

· Plan, direct, and lead weekly worship services in cooperation with the Senior Pastor.

· Incorporate both hymns and contemporary songs.

· Manage the time, order, flow, transitions, and quality of the worship music.

· Manage choir practice once a week.

· Prepare and lead seasonal performances for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and special events.

· The ability/desire to oversee the sound, media, and livestreaming technology for worship service.

This is a paid, part-time position with compensation based on experience and availability.
