First Baptist Church, Kernersville, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Minister of Music. This is a salaried position (20 hours per week) with salary dependent on experience. This Ministry is designed to plan, organize and lead the ministry of music to include working in consultation with the Senior Pastor and worship team to plan Sunday worship (to include youth, children and senior adults when appropriate) and special services (including cantatas and other special music such as solos, duets, trios, ensembles, praise and worship, handbells and other instruments) to insure appropriate congregational and special music that will enhance and support the worship message and experience.
