Mount Vernon Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Minister of Music.

Duties Include:

Direct adult choir on a weekly basis and periodically work with the youth and children.

Assist the pastor in planning all regular and evangelistic worship services

Provide music as requested for special functions such as weddings, funerals and other church related activities.

Maintain the music library

Be responsible for coordinating maintenance of musical instruments and other music related equipment

Prepare and administer an annual music ministry budget

Present quarterly report at the church conference
