Worship Leader

Reports to Senior Pastor

Status: Part-Time

Summary

The Worship Leader will effectively lead and organize an active music ministry that glorifies God through the music ministry of our church, including Sunday morning worship services, and helping to lead and develop a more extensive music ministry through other avenues in our church.

Job Description

1.Organize and lead Sunday morning worship services.2. Organize and lead special music services.3. Lead the praise band in rehearsal.4. Recruit and train volunteers to assist in the music ministry as needed.5. Work with media team to have the songs displayed during the service.6. Oversee the music ministry budget.7. Attend weekly staff meeting.8. Seek for the overall growth and edification of the entire church through worship.9. Submit to the guidance and vision of the Senior Pastor.10. Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.11. Time would be focused on preparing songs, collaborating with Senior Pastor concerning service schedule, praise band practice, and all of Sunday morning worship. There would also be a weekly staff meeting either in person, phone or video conference.
