Job Title: Ministry Associate
About the Church: King's Cross Church is a young, growing congregation in Nashville, TN. We began in May 2022 with 20 members, and have grown to about 100 in weekly attendance. We are an evangelical church in the Reformed and Baptist traditions that exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the good news of God's kingdom. Due to the growth that we have seen in the past several months, King's Cross is seeking a full-time Ministry Associate to assist in the pursuit of our mission in East Nashville.
Reports To: The Ministry Associate will report directly to the Lead Pastor.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordination of Ministry Programming and Events (30%): The Ministry Associate will, at the direction of the Lead Pastor, coordinate ministry programming and events. This includes, but is not limited to, the operation of Planning Center, communication with group leaders, and coordination of non-Sunday morning church events.
- Coordination of Member Service (15%): The Ministry Associate will use Planning Center to ensure that all regular attendees and members are onboarded into our systems and are regularly scheduled for service in various ministry areas.
- Ministry to College Students and Young Adults (15%): The Ministry Associate will, in partnership with the Lead Pastor, lead in ministry to college students and young adults. He or she will create ministry programming for college students and young adults that is consistent with our philosophy of ministry.
- Ministry to Men OR Women (15%): The Ministry Associate will, in partnership with the Lead Pastor, lead in ministry to men or women (depending on whether the candidate is a man or woman). He or she will help implement programming for men/women that is consistent with our philosophy of ministry.
- Personal Discipleship, Study, and Growth (10%): The Ministry Associate will be expected to prioritize his or her relationship with Christ and his or her growth in the knowledge and skills needed for Christian life and ministry.

Other Duties as Assigned (15%): The Ministry Associate will attend a weekly staff meeting with the Lead Pastor and be required to work a minimum of two (2) days a week in office, out of which may flow other duties and assignments.

Education and Experience:
- Candidates must have or be in pursuit of masters level theological education. Preference will be given to candidates who have already completed a Master of Arts in theological studies or a Master of Divinity.
- Candidates should have a minimum of three years of lay service in a local church. Preference will be given to candidates with internship, part-time, or full-time workplace experience in a local church or parachurch ministry.
Compensation:
- Minimum $60,000/year, including housing allowance
- Benefits:
- Paid Time Off: Three (3) weeks / fifteen (15) days PTO (not to exceed three Sundays)
- Parental leave: Six (6) weeks / thirty (30) days maternity or two (2) weeks / ten (10) days paternity leave; will be paid for three (3) hours of work per day of leave
- Eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $2,500/yr if pursuing formal theological education, at the determination of the Pastors
- Candidate will be required to procure his or her own health insurance
