Position Summary The Ministry Manager will be part of an exciting new church plant, and will have the opportunity to help build and shape systems, processes, and culture, in collaboration with the Senior Pastor. The Ministry Manager of Redeemer Brooklyn (RBK) will take a lead role in execution and oversight of all ministry and organizational operations. Responsibilities will include event planning, calendar planning, administration, communications, and project management. The Ministry Manager will be responsible for operationalizing the ministry vision, goals, and initiatives, using all available resources (staff, congregation, partnerships, etc.), and will work as a partner to the Lead Pastor.
Job Description
- Maintaining relationships and communication with on-site rental venue management
- Supporting children's ministry manager and worship director for events related logistics, including Sunday service set-up and operations; sound, audio/visual/lighting, etc.
- Leadership of Sunday service logistics and operations including working with volunteers for Sunday Service Teams.
- Assist with coordination and planning of neighborhood outreach events, socials and other church-wide events.
- Work with Lead Pastor and staff to execute and implement strategic ministry initiatives, keeping the organization focused on ministry goals and maximizing Lead Pastor's effectiveness.
- Continually develop and assess systems and processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Oversee workflow and planning processes of staff team in alignment with strategic goals.
- Coordinate and keep projects on schedule while maintaining ability to adjust accordingly as circumstances and priorities change.
- Help develop and implement church-wide communications.
- Maintenance of Touchpoint database, creating and managing registrations for events.
- Website maintenance, management of inbound emails and inquiries, YouTube and social media channel updates.
- Need to embrace Redeemer Brooklyn's vision and have a gospel-oriented heart for Brooklyn.

- Minimum 5 years professional experience, experience with a religious or 501(c)3 nonprofit preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's level management degree preferred.
