Position Title: Missions Mobilizer
Organization: Serving Workers for the Harvest (SWH)
Location: Buda, Texas
Reports To: VP of Global Advancement
Position Type: Full-time; 40+ hours/week

Job Summary: The Missions Mobilizer plays a vital role in expanding and strengthening mission partnerships by engaging churches, organizations, and individuals in cross-cultural ministry. This position involves recruiting stateside partners, facilitating short-term mission trips, and supporting long-term mission initiatives. Additionally, the Missions Mobilizer collaborates with existing mission teams to ensure their effectiveness, growth, and continued alignment with organizational mission, vision, and goals.
Job Description
Spiritual Qualifications:
- Maintains a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as a baptized believer
- Possesses a passion to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ in all nations with the ability and experience to effectively present the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly and concisely
- Believes in the mission and vision of SWH
- Agreement with and willingness to live by the doctrinal convictions as set forth in the Serving Workers for the Harvest Statement of Faith
- Demonstrates integrity, humility, resilience, and a servant's heart as described in the Bible (1 Timothy 3; Proverbs 31)
Education & Experience:
- Required: high school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate's degree (preferably in Theology, Divinity, Missions, Missiology or a related field)
- Required: Experience working in cross-cultural ministry or missions
- Preferred: Strong networking skills with churches and mission-minded organizations
- Preferred: Project management experience, particularly in mission trip logistics
- Required: Ability to travel internationally multiple times per year
- Required: Strong public speaking and teaching abilities
Skills & Qualifications:
- Passion for connecting people to mission work and fostering ongoing relationships
- Highly relational among individuals and groups within a cross-cultural setting
- Thorough knowledge of the Bible and biblical doctrines
- Ability to teach and lead effectively
- Adept at networking, collaboration, and customer relationship (CRM) management
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and flexible in dynamic environments
- Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

Church & Partner Engagement
- Build relationships with churches, small groups, and organizations interested in global missions
- Recruit and equip churches to engage in long-term partnerships with international ministries
- Present mission opportunities through public speaking, networking, and training sessions

Short-Term Trip Facilitation
- Organize and coordinate short-term mission trips, ensuring they align with long-term ministry goals
- Work with local and international partners to plan trip logistics, including travel, lodging, and ministry activities
- Provide pre-trip training and post-trip debriefing for mission teams

Long-Term Ministry Development
- Support the strategic growth of cross-cultural ministries by connecting churches with international partners
- Assist in project management and long-term partnership development with mission teams overseas
- Ensure that mission efforts contribute to sustainable, gospel-centered impact by reaching, discipling, and multiplying the body of Christ

Administrative & Logistical Support
- Develop and manage budgets for mission trips and projects in collaboration with leadership
- Maintain communication with mission teams, providing necessary resources and guidance
- Utilize CRM tools to oversee ministry partnerships with churches, ministries, and individuals
Compensation: SWH employees, deputized to raise funds for the organization, cultivate partnerships with churches, individuals, and organizations to secure their financial support. Compensation is directly tied to an approved budget, which includes both personal and ministry expenses.
