Mobilization Strategist
Job Overview
The Mobilization Strategist holds the following responsibilities:
- Recruit and train US participants to go on North American and International mission projects.
- Make contacts and connections with local churches for project participation and to offer evangelism training tools.
- Enlist participants for all IC projects by seeking out opportunities in assigned geographical area.
- Communicate regularly with committed participants.
- Work with Area Strategist to coordinate team for project.
- Coordinate all team details for assigned project by working with Mobilization Coordinator in Home Office.
- Lead training calls with team participants before project begins.
- Travel with and lead the team of participants on the project.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
A. Mobilization
- Enlist US participants
- Develop relationships with Associations, Director’s of Mission, Pastors, laymen and women in assigned geographical area
B. Mobilization Preaching/Speaking
- Seek out preaching/speaking opportunities in churches, associations and conferences
- Challenge and motivate participants to go on a project
C. Maintain records of interested participants
- Submit Mobilization Memo Mobilization Administrator
- Forward any changes (adds or drops) to Mobilization Administrator
D. Train the Committed Participants
- Preparation Meetings
- Conference Calls
- IC Printed Materials
- Multimedia provided
- Orientation Meetings in the Host Country
E. Communication
- Communicate regularly with all participants on Mobilization Report
- Written letters
- Telephone Calls
- Email messages, if applicable
- Responsible for assuring total projects costs are received before departure
F. Overseas Retreat (when requested)
- Prepare Host Churches for the Project
- Meet with Overseas Leadership
- Finalize hotel, transportation and arrangements for the Project in the Host Country
- Cooperate and share information with the Area Strategist and Arrangements Department as needed
G. Coordinate Overseas Project
- Lead or assign a leader to supervise transfer to the project country/location
- Work with Local Committee
- Manage the Project Budget; pay bills for transportation, meals, lodging, etc.
- Handle any difficulties that may arise
- See to the welfare of both National and USA participants
H. Business Expenses
- Maintain receipts and record of business miles, meals, office expenses etc.
- Submit as required on appropriate IC form to receive Monthly Expense Dollars (mxd) for expenses and request additional funds to be approved by Mobilization VP.
I. Train Assistant Coordinators
- All Mobilization functions
- All communication methods to participants
- Activities on the project
J. Meetings
- Mobilization Team Training
- All IC Staff Meetings
- Fund Raising Dinners, in respective geographic areas
