Faith Christian Academy seeks a passionate and dedicated Music Director/Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will teach elementary and middle school music classes, covering both vocal and instrumental instruction. Additionally, the candidate will prepare and coordinate music for worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture young musical talent while contributing to the worship experience of our congregation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Clear testimony of salvation and daily walk with the Lord.
• Passion for Christian education, musical instruction, student performance, and worship.

Salay Range: $43,200 – $55,920

(43,200 = BA no experience = class A, step 1 on 12-month scale)

(55,920 = MA ten years of experience = class D, step 11 on 12-month scale)

Job Description

• Teach Music Classes: Instruct elementary and middle school students in vocal and instrumental music, fostering a love for music and developing their musical skills.

• Develop and Implement Lesson Plans: Create and execute engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of students at different grade levels.

• Prepare Concerts: Organize and prepare students for yearly concerts, showcasing their progress and talent.

• Coordinate Worship Music: Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to select and prepare music for Sunday worship services, ensuring a meaningful and cohesive worship experience.

• Prepare Worship Service Music: Plan and prepare music for worship services, working closely with the Lead Pastor to align with the church’s worship goals.
