Office Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to support the daily administrative and operational functions of our Baptist church. The ideal candidate will be a committed Christian with strong organizational skills and a heart for ministry. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the church office, supporting the pastoral staff, coordinating communication, and helping foster a welcoming environment for members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage all day-to-day operations of the church office

· Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

· Maintain and update church records, membership databases, and calendars

· Coordinate scheduling of church facilities and events

· Assist the pastor(s) and ministry leaders with administrative tasks

· Prepare bulletins, handle social media, and other church communications

· Process mail, invoices, and financial documentation for the church treasurer or

the finance committee

· Maintain church supplies, office equipment, and vendor relationships

· Support coordination of baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other services

· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and pastoral matters

· Ensure alignment of all work with the mission and values of the church

Qualifications:

· A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Baptist beliefs

· Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, or office management role

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G Suite Administration

· Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately

· Proficiency in Amplify-Ministry Brands Application is a plus

· Experience working in a church or nonprofit environment is a plus

Work Schedule & Compensation:

· Full-time

· Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Sundays or events as needed

· Compensation: Commensurate with experience
