Job Title: Part-Time Outreach Director

Location: Restoration Church, Laurel/Savage Area

Job Type: Part-Time (30-40 hours per month)

About Us: Restoration Church is a new and small church plant located in the Laurel/Savage area, with a diverse congregation primarily from various African nationalities. Our mission is to reflect Jesus truthfully so that others might experience Him genuinely. Visitors appreciate our expositional preaching and openness.

Job Summary: The Part-Time Outreach Director will play a crucial role in expanding the church's community presence. This individual will plan and execute yearly outreach events to foster engagement and connection between the community and the congregation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Outreach Events: Plan and execute at least two major outreach events and six minor outreach events each year to engage with the local community and attract new visitors.
• Q&A Sundays: Plan and facilitate Q&A sessions on designated Q&A Sundays to address congregational questions and encourage open dialogue.
• Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary liaison to the Social Ads company to manage online advertising and outreach efforts. Serve as the primary liaison to a partnered elementary school, fostering relationships and coordinating joint initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Devoted follower of Jesus
• Experience in church leadership, discipleship, and outreach activities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers.
• Passion for community engagement and a heart for pastoral care.
• Familiarity with community partnership strategies is a plus.

Compensation: $30/ Hour
