Bluff Park Community Church is seeking a passionate and gifted Worship Leader to lead our congregation in meaningful and engaging worship experiences. This individual will oversee the worship ministry, lead musical worship, and cultivate a Christ-centered atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth and engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities • Plan and lead worship services, selecting songs that align with the message and church vision. • Lead and develop the worship team, including musicians, vocalists, and tech volunteers. • Coordinate rehearsals and provide musical and spiritual guidance to team members. • Work with the pastor and leadership to align worship with the overall direction of the church. • Oversee audio/visual aspects of worship, ensuring smooth execution of services. • Introduce new songs and worship styles as appropriate for the congregation. • Foster an atmosphere of worship through prayer, Scripture, and personal spiritual growth. • Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with church leadership on worship planning. Qualifications • A strong and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. • Musical proficiency in singing and at least one instrument (guitar or keyboard preferred). • Ability to engage and lead a congregation in worship. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • A team player with a heart for mentoring and equipping others. • Familiarity with contemporary worship music and traditional hymns. • Basic knowledge of sound systems, ProPresenter, and worship technology (preferred).

Additional Information • This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including Sunday services and midweek rehearsals. • The Worship Leader is expected to participate in church life beyond leading worship. • Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
