Partner Engagement Representative
Job Overview
Keys Connections supports educational and evangelistic ministry in Eurasia. Our mission is to equip nationals to serve in pastoral ministry, missions, social work and business. This new position will assist with the growth and development of the Keys Connections' home office as well as the growth of overseas educational and mission programs associated with a multi-national university partner located in Moldova (eastern Europe). Candidates should be committed to Christian ministry and willing to serve in both independent and team settings. Other abilities should include strong communication and organizational skills as well as knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite. Primary responsibilities will include: partner relationship building, public speaking, writing, office support, ministry participation, etc.
Job Description
Activities of the Partner Engagement Representative (PER) may be adjusted to emphasize the strengths/skill-set of the candidate. Duties, of this full or part-time position, may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Home Office Support
- Assist the Executive Director with implementation of ‘best practices' within the home office (i.e. donor management, office systems, facility/property oversight, etc.)
- Assist with project identification, accountability and reporting
- Participate in staff meetings and Board Director meetings as needed
- Provide brief written reports that summarize contacts made on behalf of the organization and any necessary follow-up
- Assist with writing of donor ‘thank you' letters, newsletters, fundraising appeals, etc.
- Participate and assist in coordination of Keys Connections hosted events
- Volunteer recruitment and training
- Computer/technology assistance: file management, networking, video creation & editing
- Pursue opportunities and materials to aid in professional growth
Fundraising & Partner Development
- Raise financial support for this position and communicate regularly with donors
- Develop and maintain a relationship at churches and serve as a ministry liaison by communicating updates, news, prayer requests, program needs, etc.
- Communicate the ministry's vision, financial & prayer needs to current or potential partners
- Participate in creating appropriate online and social media content
- Represent Keys Connections at mission conferences, church gatherings, etc.
- Develop new strategies to engage with the local/church communities
Mission & Program Support
- Communicate Biblical truth when presented with opportunities
- Discuss ministry ideas, needs and updates with PA staff and overseas partners as needed
- Assist Keys' affiliated missionary workers and partners, as directed, from the ‘home office'
- Travel to ministry sites in Moldova, Central Asia, etc. as able. Activity abroad can include: * Meeting with faculty, administration, pastors and students * Speaking in chapel, church, classroom and small group settings * Teach classes as mutually agreed upon with university administration * Lead and serve with students when opportunities exist * Serve as a trip leader by assisting others who desire to see and participate in the work taking place in Eurasia
