Amis Chapel Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a qualified spirit-led and relational man to hold the office of Pastor who will preach/teach the Word of God, shepherd our congregation, and lead us in fulfilling the Great Commission. The ideal Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative guidance, while modeling a Christ-centered lifestyle and who can help guide us into a robust and faithful future.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Teach & Preach Word

Gifted in proclaiming biblically sound expository sermons from the pulpit Encourage & lead Word saturated worship Lead Bible studies & ensure all teaching throughout church is sound doctrinally Lead & Oversee Flock

Guide church with biblical principles Oversee & supervise church staff/leaders, affairs, policies and spiritual health Possess strong organizational skills Shepherd & Care for Members

Provide spiritual guidance through visitation, counseling and care Practice hospitality & be active at all church events Disciple members towards Christ-like maturity Model a Godly Example

Meet scriptural character qualifications of an pastor/elder/overseer found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 To share life & pursue deep relationships with members Openness to loving accountability from church members Devoted to Prayer

Have a discipline of strong personal prayer time Regularly pray for all members/ministries Lead congregation in corporate prayer time Reach Community

Passion for making disciples Desire to share the Gospel Guide church in mission outreaches in local community, country and the nations
