Cleves, Ohio is a village in Hamilton County, Ohio located along the Great Miami River and is a western suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a 25 minute drive to downtown Cincinnati with thousands of people within a five mile radius of First Baptist Church of Cleves.

FBCC is seeking a bi-vocational/part-time pastor. Currently our services are Sunday School at 10:00am, worship service at 11:00am, with no Sunday evening service or Wednesday night service. Paid part-time position. Freedom to work a second job. Ideally, a revitalization with the cooperation of another church or churches would be best.

Qualifications/Requirements

A man of good reputation (First Timothy 3:7).

Active, transparent prayer life as a foundation of ministry

Proclaim biblically sound expository sermons

Shepherd and care for members

Needs to be a disciple maker, not an organization builder

Have a heart for both local and international missions

Preferred experience is at least 3 yrs as a senior pastor/elder or 5 yrs as an associate pastor/elder

Must agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000

Represent FBCC is associational, state and denominational matters

A man who exhibits self-control in personal and public life (Gal. 5:22-23, Second Peter 1:5, James 1:9)

He must exhibit a good example in his family, in his stewardship (including tithing) and in his spiritual walk (First Timothy 3:4-5)

FBCC cooperates with the State Convention of Baptists in Ohi0 (SCBO), The Southern Baptist Convention, and is an active member and supporter of the Cincinnati Church Collective. FBCC holds firmly to salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
