Broadway Baptist Church (Southern Baptist) of Escondido, California is seeking a Pastor to lead our congregation, due to the passing of our beloved Pastor of 24 years.

Our new Pastor must be a Southern Baptist and fulfill the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. He also must be in agreement with the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message. His focus for the Church should be shepherding the flock in prayer, preaching, evangelism, discipleship and building biblically-based relationships.

Salary: $60,000 per year has been budgeted to provide salary, housing allowance and some medical assistance reimbursement. Based on Church growth, compensation/benefits will be commensurate.

Broadway Baptist Church was founded in 1955 and is supported by Elders, Deacons and a committed core membership who love the Lord and serve in numerous volunteer positions. Current Worship attendance on Sunday is 40+ with ages ranging primarily from young adult to 90+. Sunday morning Bible Study averages 10-15.

Broadway is a mission-minded church and, in addition to supporting SBC and San Diego SBC, we also sponsor Spanish and Japanese congregations onsite (with their own Pastors), as well as several ministries.
