The Pastor shall be an energetic person, who loves the Lord their God with all their heart. He is one who has a deep loving care for the congregation. He is one who is skilled at church growth, and can relate well to all ages. His special duties would be preaching a sound biblically based sermon, administering the ordinances, providing pastoral care and visitation. He is one who has an enthusiasm for and a willingness to bring in young families. He is one who has the ability to build up the church to a position of strength and spiritual maturity. The Pastor shall adhere to the Statement of Faith of the Covenant Brethren Church.
