Position Summary

We are prayerfully seeking a Pastor Elder who will serve as the primary shepherd, teacher, and spiritual leader of our church. This individual will work alongside the plurality of elders to provide biblical teaching, visionary leadership, and pastoral care, equipping the body for ministry and mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursue and prioritize a vibrant, abiding relationship with Jesus through personal Bible study, rest, and prayer
• Preach and teach the Word of God faithfully and effectively (2 Timothy 4:2)
• Provide spiritual oversight and leadership alongside the other elders
• Shepherd the congregation through prayer, counseling, and discipleship
• Lead and support ministry staff and volunteers
• Cast and implement vision alongside the other elders in alignment with the church's mission and values
• Represent the church in the community and broader Christian networks

Qualifications

• Meets the biblical qualifications of an elder (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9)
• A mature, Spirit-led follower of Jesus Christ
• Strong preaching, spiritual teaching, and administrative gifts
• Proven experience in pastoral leadership (preferably 5+ years)
• Theological training (Masters of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary preferred)
• Committed to team leadership and servant-hearted ministry
• Doctrinal alignment with our Statement of Faith
