Emmanuel Baptist Church of Rock Springs, WY is seeking a full time Senior Pastor

Goal:

To find the man who is called by the Lord to be our long-term pastor. Someone who focuses on biblical based sermons to encourage, teach and equip members to further God's kingdom. We seek a shepherd to direct and support our current and future ministries.

Responsibilities:

A Christian man who is active in his personal prayer time and is growing and maturing in his own spiritual life. Theological education is preferred.Help develop and lead short-, mid-, and long term ministry plans.Provide and oversee pastoral care to members.Will present weekly sermons with enthusiasm and conviction.Have 5 or more years of pastoral experience.Officiate at weddings and funerals, attend church meetings, overseeing Deacon leadership.Leading weekly prayer meetingThorough knowledge of church administration responsibilities and obligationsSupport, supervise and evaluate current and future staffing needsEffective communication and social skills within the church and community
