First Baptist Church Craigsville, West Virginia is seeking a full- time pastor that is a Godly man meeting scriptural qualifications. (1 Peter 5:1-4)

The Pastor is responsible for leading the church to function as a New Testament Church.

The Pastor is the leader of Pastoral ministries in a church. As such, he works with the Deacons, church staff, and Teams to: (1) lead the church in performing its tasks, (2) lead the church to engage in a fellowship of worship, witness, education, ministry, and application, (3) proclaim the gospel to believers and unbelievers, and (4) setting a vision, and equipping the church to reach the community and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ (5) care for the church's members and other persons in the community.

We are seeking candidates with five (5) to ten (10) years of pastoral experience in some capacity. The depth and extent of such experience will be considered on an individual basis. Candidates should also have some seminary training. The lack of seminary training or having advanced education would not necessarily disqualify a candidate.

Candidates should use his knowledge and understanding of the Word of God in all aspects of his life and as a representative of not only our church, but the body of Christ.
