FBC Ozona, MS is seeking a Part-Time Head Pastor to join us in the revitalization of our church and ministry to the surrounding neighborhood. FBC Ozona is in the midst of a rich harvest, being located int he middle of a diverse residential community. COVID hit the church hard, leaving only a handful of faithful attendees, but over the past year, we have grown to an average attendance of roughly 20, and we have been preparing our hearts and resources for strategic ministry that will lead to further growth and ministry for the sake of the gospel. Qualifications

We believe that God can call and equip men for ministry in many ways. As such, the qualifications we seek stem from the candidates character, as opposed to his background. A good candidate must:

• fulfill all qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
• have superb biblical interpretation and the ability to teach
• seek God's will above all else, and be skilled at hearing God's voice
• lead through purpose and vision
• be humble and gentle in all interactions

Responsibilities

• preach the Word of God
• lead the church in its various ministries
• seek and win lost souls to Christ
• recommend to the church members a suitable candidate to fill any vacancy in church staff and supervise said staff
• be the tie breaking vote

Compensation

$10,500-13,000 annually, pending experience and background
