Gila Valley Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated full-time pastor to serve together with our congregation while providing spiritual leadership for the church and its ministries. Our Ideal Candidate Will: Communicate Biblical teaching in a way that is clear and understandable. Live a life that visibly displays the fruit of the Spirit. Emphasize discipleship, personal and spiritual growth, and servant leadership. Be able to recognize and value the spiritual gifts of others and encourage the use of those gifts within the church. Form new relationships easily seeking ways to be actively involved in our church and community. We are located in Gila, NM, a rural community in southwestern New Mexico. We are a Southern Baptist Church with a strong, active congregation and close ties to our community. A full time salary and parsonage housing will be provided.
