Hayneville Baptist Church in Hayneville, Alabama, is seeking a full-time Pastor. We are searching for someone, who is led by the Holy Spirit and proclaims the Word of God, to lead our church and become part of our community that we love.

Hayneville Baptist Church, a multi-generational church with many young active families, is a unique rural church that continues to grow and is blessed to be completely debt free. At present there are 283 resident members with an average attendance of 130 in Sunday School. We currently offer Sunday School and worship services each Sunday morning along with numerous activities and Bible studies for adults and children on Wednesday nights. Hayneville Baptist Church also engages in various events throughout the year within our church and the local community.

Hayneville Baptist Church exists to reach unbelievers and to strengthen believers to become more like Jesus. We reach unbelievers by sharing the good news of Jesus; we help believers mature through connection, worship, and committed service.

The candidate must be willing to work with the church council, various committees, provide lead administrative duties for church staff, demonstrate responsible stewardship and healthy relationships within the church and community.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree (minimum)

· Master's Degree of Divinity from a Southern Baptist Seminary (preferred)

· Agreement with The Baptist Faith and Message (2000)

· Experience as either Senior Pastor or Associate Pastor (Preferred)

Salary commensurate with experience, education and qualifications.
