Little Mount Baptist Church in Taylorsville, KY seeks a full time or bi-vocational pastor. Little Mount Baptist is a member of the North Central Baptist Network, the Kentucky Baptist Convention, and Southern Baptist Convention. The church seeks a man of strong Baptist convictions in full agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. A Seminary graduate is highly desirable, but not required.

Qualifications:

· Demonstrates a calling by God to pastor a local church.

· The Senior Pastor will provide oversight of all areas of church life and the ministerial staff.

· The Senior Pastor the principal leader and vision caster of the church.

· Thet Senior Pastor models the practice of personal evangelism.

· The Senior Pastor is the principal communicator

· The Senior Pastor will equip, educate, and edify the church

· The Senior Pastor will exercise biblical authority of God's Word.

· The Senior Pastor partners with other leaders to disciple, empower, and equip maturing members.

· The Senior Pastor will participate in the planning of worship services and events.

· The Senior Pastor will oversee and lead outreach and pastoral care efforts, including biblical counseling, performing weddings and conducting funeral services.

· The Senior Pastor will oversee staff development and resources.

· The Senior Pastor will work with the church leadership and ministerial staff to set forth vision and direction of the church.

· The Senior pastor will maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the church.

The salary package will be negotiable based on education, experience, full time or bi-vocational.
