Job Description

By definition, "bivocational" means a pastor who would need a secondary income to supplement his salary from the church. While our pastor needs to be available for the duties as the shepherd of our church, we also understand that we—as a church—need to be sensitive to the schedule and responsibilities of his other job. We are praying that God will increase our ministry and impact in our community, and hope to grow so that we can again support a full-time pastor. Still, we are committed to supporting a bivocational pastor's unique needs.

We further recognize that bivocational pastorates are ideal for those with the firm call to pastoral ministry, but limited experience. We prefer to entertain candidates with a few years pastoral experience and a Bible college degree however, we welcome and encourage interest from those candidates transitioning to the ministry from industry, or those who are currently serving in a local church in a bivocational or full time ministry position.
