The Millsap Church Pastor Search Committee along with the assistance of the church body has identified the kind of man we will be searching for in our next Senior Pastor.

We desire a Senior Pastor who is a biblically qualified elder (Acts 20:25-35; Gal. 5:22-23; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 Peter 5:1-3). He will be committed to the infallibility and authority of the Bible. Our Senior Pastor will be firm in his conviction to teach and preach expositionally from the entire Bible. He must be a caring shepherd who can relate well to people of diverse backgrounds, wisely and graciously encouraging them to grow in their love for Christ.

Our Senior Pastor will have a strong commitment to lead the church in fulfilling the Great Commission. He will be experienced in relationship building and be able to lead and unite the church with a vision and purpose that follows Christ's example. Our Pastor will lead our staff with a team based approach, and be able to mentor and advise our ministry leaders.

The next Senior Pastor of Millsap Church will have a strong commitment to reaching the community. He will lead the church to continue to grow in their love for local, national, and international missions that grow the body of Christ. He will be a biblical counselor, who depends on the sufficiency of Scripture.

The Senior Pastor, if married, should be a man with integrity, reflecting Christ's love for the church. His relationship with his wife and children, (if any) should reflect his spiritual leadership.
