Full-Time Senior Pastor

North Crossett First Baptist Church, a multi-generational congregation with a 79-year history of ministry in Ashley County, Arkansas, is seeking a full-time senior pastor. Our worship service attendance is currently around 100, with a potential for growth. We are a mission-minded church located in a small, resilient, southern Arkansas town.

Qualifications:

• Must meet the biblical qualifications of a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-5

• Be in full agreement and compliance with the doctrinal statements of the SBC Baptist Faith and Message 2000

• A Master of Divinity (MDIV) degree from a seminary of like faith and order is preferred.

• Should be confirmed by a body of believers through ordination of like faith and order

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver biblical sermons

• Build relationships

• Be an example and equip the members of the church to disciple one another and evangelize the community.

• Demonstrates an approach to ministry that encourages the growth and development of all age groups

• Encourage, equip, and develop future church leaders
