Position Title: Pastor of Discipleship and Family Ministries.Position Summary:Provide strategic leadership to foster a culture of spiritual growth and Biblical discipleship across all generations. Key Responsibilities:.· Develop, implement, and oversee discipleship ministries fostering spiritual growth across all ages with focus on children (birth–5th grade), youth (6th–12th grade), and small groups.· Equip and encourage families by promoting biblical discipleship, modeling spiritual leadership, and encouraging family worship and faith at home.· Recruit, train, and resource ministry volunteers and leaders.· Collaborate with the senior pastor and ministry teams to cultivate a Christ-centered, family-friendly church culture that makes mature disciples.· Participate in general pastoral duties such as preaching, teaching, and visitation, as assigned.Desired Qualifications:● A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to a growing, mature walk with Him.● Seminary degree (M.Div. or equivalent) or substantial theological training preferred.● Prior experience leading family, youth, or children's ministries in a local church setting.● Strong teaching and communication skills, relatable to various age groups.● Ability to recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers effectively.● A heart for equipping parents to lead their families spiritually.● Experience in discipleship ministry, including small group development and leadership training.● Alignment with the church's statement of faith, mission, and values.● Collaborative spirit and ability to work well within a ministry team.
