The Pastor of Discipleship & Groups provides overall pastoral leadership for Community Gospel Church's discipleship pathway and leadership pipeline, including primary oversight of Small Groups, Men's Ministry, and Connections. This role ensures people are not only connected to the church but formed into mature followers of Jesus through Scripture, community, and ongoing discipleship rhythms.
Key Responsibilities: recruit, train, shepherd, and multiply small group leaders; provide pastoral leadership for Men's Ministry, moving it from events into consistent discipleship rhythms; own the guest-to-attender-to-disciple-to-leader assimilation pathway; and build a reproducible leadership-development pipeline alongside the elders and staff.
