The Pastor of Outreach is a full-time position offering salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate is (1) fluent in Spanish (because native Spanish-speakers are the fastest growing demographic in our region) and has a bi-cultural personal story enabling him to intuitively connect with our local, growing immigrant communities, and (2) has rich ministry-leadership experience to serve as a movement leader who can raise up and invest in the next generation of Latino pastors and church planters as part of our Kingdom Reproduction core value. This vision reflects our Future-Now commitment to raise up and equip the next generation of church leaders from within our congregation and our North Jersey context.

As a pastor on staff, he will engage in a broad range of pastoral ministry, including teaching, preaching, counseling, and worship leading. His role has two primary outward-facing dimensions: (1) encouraging and equipping the congregation to join in God's mission by engaging our community with the Gospel in word and deed, and (2) establishing a foundation for reaching and raising up future church planters for the Spanish-speaking population in our region.

• Models the life of a disciple of Christ who embodies GRC's Vision, Mission, and Values.
• Exhibits leadership with strong interpersonal skills that can adapt to various personalities and contexts.
• Desires to join a team of Kingdom servants.
• Affirms core beliefs and doctrinal standards of Grace Redeemer Church (as defined by the PCA's Statement of Faith).
• Desires to grow both spiritually and professionally.
• Active PCA ordination, or relevant education and experience suitable for ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
