Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts

The Pastor of Worship & Creative Arts will serve as the primary leader of our blended worship ministry, bringing together the richness of choir and hymns with the vibrancy of modern band-driven praise. This role is both musical and pastoral, combining artistic excellence with a heart for shepherding.

The right candidate will:

– Plan and lead Sunday worship services with creativity and theological depth.– Direct and grow our choir, praise band, and vocal teams in a way that blends traditional and contemporary worship.– Recruit, equip, and disciple servants of all ages in the worship and creative arts ministry.– Foster a culture of worship that engages the whole church, not just the platform.– Work with the Senior Pastor and ministry staff in service planning and church-wide vision.– Oversee creative elements of worship, including media and special events (seasonal programs, musicals, outreach events, etc.).– Provide oversight to the Creative Arts ministries, including promotional graphics, website, social media, church app, worship guides, and newsletters.

Qualifications:

– A minimum of a bachelor's degree in music, worship, or a related field (desire is holding or working towards a Master's).– Demonstrated skill in directing choirs, bands, and praise teams.– A clear calling to pastoral ministry and the ability to shepherd people beyond the platform.– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build a multi-generational ministry.– A commitment to Southern Baptist theology and cooperative missions.– Experience in creative arts, production, or media oversight is a plus.
