Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is a small rural church located in north central Florida. We are situated in Lafayette County near the town of Mayo, about halfway between Gainesville and Tallahassee. We are bordered by the scenic and historic Suwannee River. We will soon celebrate our 146th anniversary. Pleasant Grove has a strong core group of believers who are seeking God's will in all things. We believe that His guidance will lead us to the right shepherd for His flock.

We are seeking a full-time pastor who preaches the word of God, based on the authority of the scripture. We believe in home and foreign missions and the spreading of the gospel. We adhere to the Baptist faith and mission statement. Pleasant Grove is a small, warm, and loving country church with a strong fellowship and community spirit. Lafayette County has an excellent school system with an "A" rating on the state level. Our community is small and quiet...a great place to live and raise a family.

Minimum Requirements: Ordained Baptist Minister with sound doctrinal beliefs and scriptural knowledge.
