-To be a shepherd to our people through prayer, teaching, preaching, discipleship, council, and visitation.

-Well developed preaching skills.

-Committed to Christian education and discipleship.

-Track record of effective ministry in the lives of people.

-Relates well to people with different backgrounds and personalities

Powassan Wesleyan Church (https://powassanwesleyan.ca) is seeking a full time Pastor.

The Church and Community

The Powassan Wesleyan Church exists to transform lives by training disciples to touch the community and to take Christ to the world. Powassan Wesleyan Church is located in the small northern Ontario community of Powassan. The small town centre combined with the rural community make up the town of Powassan which has a population of 3,500. Powassan is located approximately 20 minutes south of North Bay which has a population of 55,000. We are a small congregation with a Sunday attendance of approximately 50 people and have a large modern well equipped church that has great potential for growth as God leads us.

The Candidate

-Our Church is seeking a Pastor with confident leadership abilities, and desire to reach the community.

-A spirit filled Pastor who teaches biblical principles and leads others by their actions and love for Christ.

-Focused on outreach while maintaining the needs of the present congregants.
