Rock Falls Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor, called by God to serve our church and grow the Kingdom of God. We are a rural, medium sized church, founded in 1877 and located in the midst of the Orrick, Richmond and Excelsior Springs, Missouri communities, approximately 40 miles northeast of Kansas City. We are an evangelical body of believers striving to grow in relationship with God through fellowship, worship and the study of His Word. We are committed to discipleship, service, outreach and missions at home and around the world. The primary function of our Pastor is to provide spiritual leadership to the church family, enabling us to grow in the discipleship of Christ and to fulfill the Church's mission, function and core values, which are the values set out in the Baptist Faith and Message. The Pastor must meet the qualifications set out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Peter 5:2-4. Primary characteristics and responsibilities include: 1) First and foremost, to be a servant leader and spiritual model, ever-seeking a closer personal relationship with Jesus, being intentional about ongoing personal spiritual development and living a life of spiritual integrity; 2) Leading and casting vision for the church and supervising, with the deacons, the ministries and operations of the church; 3) Preaching and teaching the congregation regularly as the Shepard and primary Bible teacher and leading in service planning and coordination; 4) Full participation in ministry and pastoral care to those in need in the church and community, including visits to the sick, grieving and shut-ins and; 5) Leading the church in hands-on evangelistic outreach, including follow-ups with prospects.

Preferred, but not required- a Bachelor's (or higher) Degree from an accredited Bible college or university in the area of Biblical/Pastoral studies and pastoral experience.

$55,000- $70,000 salary (commensurate with experience and qualifications), plus healthcare and retirement benefits, vacation and assistance with moving costs.
