Pastor

Sierra Vista Servants of Christ Church is seeking a Pastor called by God to shepherd our congregation and lead us into the future.

We are an Independent Reformed congregation of about 50 members committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our city and surrounding region.

We affirm the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) as our doctrinal standard.

We conduct a main Sunday service, Sunday morning Bible study, Wednesday Bible study, and early morning prayer.

Sierra Vista is a growing, culturally diverse city in southeastern Arizona with a population of about 45,000.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Gifts in biblical, expository preaching, and teaching
• Reformed background preferred
• M.Div. or equivalent from an accredited seminary
• Strong interpersonal skills and transparent Christian character
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
• Familiarity with Korean customs and culture desired, but not required

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and lead worship services
• Prepare and deliver weekly sermons
• Administer communion and baptisms
• Provide pastoral care and visitation
• Offer biblical counseling
• Conduct weddings and funerals
