TBC is prayerfully seeking the man God has prepared to lead our church. After 46 years of ministry, including 10 at TBC, our pastor has announced his intention to retire.

Church Intro:

Tusculum Baptist Church is located in the historic community of Greeneville, TN and began as a mission of First Baptist Church Greeneville. The proximity to Tusculum University led us to have a strong college ministry focus called SPOT (Students Pray on Thursday).

Average Worship attendance: 150 (Combined Traditional and Contemporary Services)

Average SPOT attendance: 50

Minimum Requirements:

• Seminary degree.
• Five years pastoral experience preferred; combination of experience, theological training, and education will be considered
• Ordained Baptist Minister that adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)

Responsibilities

• Work will include leadership and pastoral care for the entire church family
• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, deacons, church leaders, and volunteers
• Must be skilled to carry out the 5 functions of the New Testament Church:
  • Evangelism
  • Discipleship
  • Ministry
  • Fellowship
  • Worship
