Job Overview

Valera Baptist Church's current pastor of 20 years is retiring. We are prayerfully searching for a young man who is desirous and called to lead with a shepherd's heart. Located in the rural community of Valera Texas within Coleman County. We are very conservative, and are more reformed in doctrine than many Baptist Churches.

We are searching for a young man who does not view pastoring as strictly a professional career, and does not consider a small church to simply be a lower rung to climb on the ladder of success.

Job Description

Younger male who is gifted to preach, teach and to lead.

Previous experience is not required, and a seminary degree is not required.

A sincere heart for the word of God, the church family and outreach IS required.

The church offers:

• A salary
• Covering of misc ministry expenses
• A 3 bedroom 1.5 bath parsonage with utilities paid.
