PASTOR

Our church is seeking a full-time pastor in Jonesboro, Arkansas. We have a small to medium congregation and we are located in the immediate facility of a local public school facility and our community is growing quickly. Currently we offer no additional benefits or amenities above salary for this position. Applicant selection will be based on the typical interview process. Reference and background checks will be required. Bi-vocational pastors and salary will be considered, as determined and agreed upon by the ideal candidate and the selection committee.

Job Description:

Pastor will be responsible for Worship Services, both Sunday and Wednesdays and other as necessary. Administrative duties within the church. Supervision of deacons and staff. Committee management and budgetary oversight Some counseling and visitations may be necessary as required

ABOUT VALLEY RIDGE BAPTIST CHURCH

VRBC is located in the immediate Valley View Public School area, and is within the Jonesboro, Arkansas city limits. Jonesboro maintains a population of almost 82,000 and is home to Arkansas State University. Our church recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and is well-established in the community. We have a family life center with a large kitchen, multiple classrooms and available offices to meet the growth needs of the facility.
