We are a small church located on the reservation of the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs, in central Oregon. We are searching for a pastor for our church. We are a Bible based church. Our membership is 20 and we have an average Sunday attendance of 35. We meet Sunday mornings for Sunday school and worship, Sunday nights for teaching by the deacons and the pastor, and for a light meal, and Wednesday evening for prayer and Bible study. Our pastor will be responsible for shepherding the congregation through faithfully preaching from the Bible on Sunday mornings, participating in the teaching on Sunday nights, teaching the Bible study on Wednesday evenings, leading in discipling church members, and interacting with the community to evangelize. The church provides a parsonage with utilities and has been able to pay the pastor $2,000/month. We realize that this may not be enough for some men and if an outside source of income is necessary, we would be open to the pastor having a second job. Our desire would be to provide enough for the pastor that this would not be necessary.
