Westside Baptist Church, located in a small town in southeast Alabama, is prayerfully seeking a God called pastor to lead our congregation in truth, love, and humility. We are a church with deep Southern roots, a strong sense of community, and a desire to grow – both spiritually and in number.

Our church family consists mostly of older members who long to see our congregation revived and reaching the next generation. We are looking for a pastor who will preach and teach the Word of God faithfully, visit and minister to the sick and shut-ins, and become an active part of our tight-knit community.

We are seeking a man who:

· Is called by God and grounded in biblical truth.

· Demonstrates integrity, humility, and heart for shepherding.

· Preaches and teaches in a way that is both convicting and compassionate.

· Has a heart for outreach and reaching young families.

· Leads by example in love, prayer, and service.

· Care for all ages and fosters unity in the body of Christ.

Qualifications:

· Must be a born-again believer with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

· Experienced in preaching and teaching the Bible.

· Able to provide pastoral care to all members, including homebound and hospitalized.

· Willing to engage in community life and help the church grow in faith and number
