Position: PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHER

Objective:Join our dynamic and supportive team to help provide care, supervision, and engaging learning activities for infants and preschool-aged children in a Christ-centered environment.

Reports to:Lead Teacher and/or Director

What We're Looking For:We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual with a heart for children and a passion for nurturing their development. As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will:

• Be a follower of Jesus Christ, seeking to live all aspects of life under His Lordship.
• Model positive, respectful behavior toward children, families, and co-workers, fostering a loving and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with the team to create a solution-driven, transparent, and fun atmosphere.
• Have a genuine interest in early childhood development and in providing creative and stimulating learning experiences for young learners.
• Understand and practice safety and sanitation measures to ensure a healthy environment for all.
• Communicate effectively and with care, using tact, patience, and kindness in all interactions.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain)
• Early childhood credentials (preferred but not required; we provide opportunities for growth!)

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in guiding children through daily activities, providing a warm and engaging classroom experience.
• Support and encourage children's growth through play, learning, and creative exploration.
• Foster a safe, caring, and joyful environment where children feel loved and supported.
• Take a special role in caring for specific children, helping them develop in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
• Partner with families, recognizing their key role in their child's education, and provide encouragement and support as needed.
• Be an active part of curriculum planning, ensuring that every day is filled with purpose and fun.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom, supporting high standards of hygiene and safety.
