First Baptist Slidell is a growing and vibrant church on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. Slidell is a bedroom community to New Orleans. Separated only by a short drive and the lake Slidell shares a rich cultural heritage with the city of New Orleans and southeast Louisiana.

FBC Slidell has 600 active members who participate in a wide variety of ministries that keeps the church busy and open often six days a week. The church has a school and child development center that hosts 500 students from 2 year old through 12th grade. We are in the process of building a new $6 million school facility. We are also the home to a vibrant Spanish speaking church. All ministries combined see over 2,000 people weekly on and off the campus so that FBC Slidell functions as a town within a city.

We are searching for our next preschool director who will join our family ministry team serving birth through Kindergarteners. This is a 20 hour a week part time job but we are willing to be flexible for the right person. This person will work closely with our children's minister who oversees and directs FBC's children ministry.

We have a thriving preschool ministry with lots of little ones on Sundays and Wednesday nights. We are looking for someone who loves kids, works well with adult volunteers, and can interact with parents. This person will plan and implement preschool programs while ministering to preschool families.
