Established just three years ago, our church has witnessed remarkable growth, starting with 130 attendees and now welcoming an average of 700-800 people each week.

Purpose of the Position
The Preschool Life Coordinator is responsible for implementing the vision and strategy of all programs, activities, and educational aspects related to the preschool ministry (newborn – PreK) at The Orchard Church, ensuring a nurturing environment for spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and recruitment of preschool volunteers and staff.Plan and oversee the execution of weekly preschool programs and activities.Create a safe, secure, and engaging environment for preschool-aged children.Select and manage educational curricula, materials, and equipment.Develop and manage the preschool ministry budget.Train and coordinate volunteers for preschool ministry activities.Schedule paid-childcare workers for church eventsEnsure adherence to the Prevention of Child and Youth Abuse Policy.Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with the church's vision and values.Coordinate and communicate with parents regarding their children's progress and upcoming events.Plan and organize special events such as holiday programs, family nights, and parent workshops.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of preschool programs, making adjustments as needed.Collaborate with other ministry leaders to integrate preschool activities with church-wide events and initiatives.Ensure all preschool areas are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other relevant information.Provide care and support to preschool children and their families as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor and/or Discipleship Pastor.Organize and manage communication with volunteers.Coordinate logistics for preschool trips and events.Recruit, mobilize, and coordinate volunteers to serve with preschool ministry needs.
Job Duties
Organize and maintain digital files and databases for Missions and Connections.Manage and answer phone systems for the church office.Responsible for the organization of ministry supplies, materials, and equipment.Coordinate scheduling and items needed for baptism with candidates and staff.Assist and coordinate benevolence requests with the guidance and oversight of the Missions Pastor.Perform other duties as assigned by the Missions Pastor and Connections Directors.Must be a member and actively involved in ministry activities at The Orchard Church which may include a Wednesday evening and/or Sunday evening service.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in kids, family, youth, or related work.Strong scriptural foundation and ability to teach and lead spiritually.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media, and communication technologies.Experience in team building and leadership.Evidence of moral character and a lifestyle consistent with The Orchard Church's Constitution, Bylaws, and Statement of Faith.Experience with Planning Center database management preferred.Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsCapacity to handle confidential information with utmost discretionDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Apple products, and Google Office Suite.Prior experience managing budgets and expensesExperience developing internal processes and systems
