Job Overview

The Regional Field Director (RFD) is an integral component in India Gospel League’s (IGL) resource development activities. The RFD is assigned to the region of North Carolina and South Carolina in the United States and works remotely in the region, specifically toward the goal of raising awareness and funds to implement the development goals and objectives of IGL.

The RFD seeks to develop new relationships with the goal of developing new financial partners for the ministry, while maintaining existing relationships in the region. This includes working with churches, foundations, corporations, individuals, and others to support annual non-program costs as well as the full scope of the efforts of IGL. This position reports to the CEO.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities within the assigned region, developing a variety of partnerships such as churches, individuals, and organizations.
• Cultivate and commit to strong relationships with existing partners, communicating regularly through updates and reports from the field.
• Develop and work alongside a volunteer leadership group in an assigned region.
• Advance and grow the existing consortium of churches within the assigned region that together support specified projects.
• Develop a deep understanding of IGL’s missions, programs, and impact to articulate to current and prospective partners.
• Organize an annual banquet/event in the assigned region, coordinate and lead regular prayer breakfasts and leadership team meetings.
• Personally travel to India once a year to participate in the ministry of IGL.
• Assist with the itineration of IGL India leaders during their visit to your region. This will be accomplished by setting up appointments and speaking engagements for each leader.
• Timely follow-up on leads provided by IGL.
• Develop strategic plan for growth with the CEO and provide monthly reports on status of this growth plan.

Qualifications:

• Professing believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• A strong relational person with a pleasant and outgoing demeanor.
• Good communicator and good writing skills.
• Able to work as a member of a collaborative team.
• Tolerant of varying theological viewpoints, viewing all believers as brothers and sisters in Christ.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with ministry-driven not-for-profit organization operations and philosophy.
